Taka Inoue: Thoughts on the Environment

Inoue is not just a competitive surfer, but also has a strong interest in environmental issues as a surfer who loves the ocean. In recent years, the problem of marine plastic has become increasingly serious worldwide. For surfers, the ocean is their field and an irreplaceable part of their existence. However, the reality is that marine life is being sacrificed due to the effects of plastic waste, and even the places where they can ride the waves are being polluted.

UPSEA has developed fins made from recycled marine plastic as a brand that takes on this issue. Inoue also shares this philosophy and is conscious of making choices that have a smaller impact on the environment. While pursuing the best performance on the competitive stage, he will also be actively involved in actions to protect the future of the ocean.

For the future of our oceans

"Surfing is a sport that coexists with nature. That's why I think it's important for us to think about what we can do and act," says Inoue. UPSEA will work with Inoue to build a sustainable future for surfing . His challenge, and that of UPSEA , have only just begun. To preserve a beautiful ocean for the future .
