[Limited to 50 units] The more you play, the cleaner the ocean becomes. The next generation of biodegradable biomass fins are now available for pre-order.

The "one solution" that we've been working on every day, covered in mud as we collect trash from rivers and waterways in Kumamoto, battling 3D printers in our office, and repeatedly testing with professional athletes, has finally taken shape.
For all surfers who love the ocean, we are starting pre-orders for the first limited batch of 50 biodegradable biomass fins, the "Circular Fin," which will set the standard for the next era.

"What good is it for us, who play in the ocean, to pollute it?"

Surfing is a wonderful sport that directly benefits from nature. However, if you lose a fin while riding, it will simply float in the ocean for hundreds of years as "marine plastic waste."
"We want to create gear that, even if lost, will eventually return to nature."
It was this strong desire that launched this biomass fin development project.

Three Innovations of UPSEA Biomass Fins
1. Plant-derived "biodegradable material" for peace of mind in case of loss
The fins we are launching use 100% plant-derived biomass plastic made from corn and other raw materials. Ultimately, they are completely broken down into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms, returning to nature. You no longer need to feel guilty about accidentally losing a fin.

2. On-demand manufacturing with 3D printers and an uncompromising challenge to strength
UPSEA thoroughly implements clean manufacturing that has no excess inventory (= future waste) whatsoever, by printing down to the millimeter using 3D printers in its own office. We asked top athletes, including world-class triple-threat pro surfer Taka Inoue and former SUP world champion Kei Komatsuyama, to test them in real waves. By overcoming bugs and nozzle clogs many times and repeatedly adjusting the lamination patterns, we have achieved both "flexibility" that can withstand even the intense turns of professionals and "overwhelming strength."

3. "Fully Circular Recycling" with 20% off, where the brand takes responsibility
UPSEA's true challenge doesn't end with selling fins. Please send your worn-out fins, or fins that have been damaged, back to our office. For those who return their fins, we will issue a special discount coupon for 20% off their next product.
The collected fins will be finely crushed in-house, re-pelletized, and reborn as new fins. This is the form of "waste-free complete circulation (sustainable business)" that UPSEA aims for.

Overview of Early Bird Pre-orders for the First Batch
Since each fin is printed with soul and care on our own printers, we cannot mass-produce them. Therefore, this first batch is limited to only 50 units.

*Products will be shipped sequentially starting June 15th.
